Next Step is the newest addition to the Groove organization, and is the ‘next step’ for kids who started with Genesis. Next Step is for members aging from approximately 7 to 10 years old. Like Genesis, this program will take a child and their parent(s) through all types of music and give a hands-on experience to the multitude of percussion instruments that are used in music around the world, but with some more advanced concepts being introduced along the way.

Beginning in November, practices will be held every Saturday from 9:15-10 am at Trinity Baptist Church, 2400 West 18th Street. All practices will be held at Trinity unless there is a scheduling conflict; notice of any changes will be sent out via email as soon as that information is made available. Alternate practice locations include Faith Lutheran Church (4th & Cliff) or Sioux Falls Lutheran School (1 blk east of 33rd & Minnesota).  Check the Events Calendar regularly for location updates.
