Next Step is the newest addition to the Groove organization, and is the ‘next step’ for kids who started with Genesis. Next Step is for members aging from approximately 7 to 10 years old. Like Genesis, this program will take a child and their parent(s) through all types of music and give a hands-on experience to the multitude of percussion instruments that are used in music around the world, but with some more advanced concepts being introduced along the way.

Beginning in November, practices will be held every Saturday from 9:15-10 am at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds Armory Building — directly north of the Grandstands. All practices will be held at the Armory unless there is a scheduling conflict; notice of any changes will be placed on the website and sent out via email as soon as that information is made available. Alternate practice locations include Faith Lutheran Church (4th & Cliff) or Sioux Falls Lutheran School (1 blk east of 33rd & Minnesota). Check the Events Calendar regularly for location updates.

Dues are $300.
