… is open to students in grades approximately 5 through 7. Cadets are taught percussion techniques along with a variety of methods during 30-minute clinics at practice. They also learn rudimentary cadences. They perform for their peer group and at local community events. Previous percussion experience or an audition is required.

Beginning Sat., Nov. 7, practices will be held every Saturday from 10:00 am-1:00 pm at the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds Armory Building – directly north of the Grandstands. All November practices will be held at the Armory. Practice locations for December-April are still being finalized at other locations and will be held at either the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds Armory Building, Faith Lutheran Church (4th & Cliff) or Sioux Falls Lutheran School (1 blk east of 33rd & Minnesota). These will be posted as soon as they are available.

Dues are $350.
